Every piece comes home

Each piece gets a numbered tag with a barcode — ORD-00012/3 is the third piece of order 12. Scan a tag and the order opens. Stains and damage are noted at the counter, not argued about at pickup.

Know what is late and what is waiting

Orders move from received to processing to ready to delivered. Late orders are flagged, part-deliveries are allowed, and a report lists garments ready for a week and never collected.

Regulars, pickups and deliveries

Book home pickups, schedule deliveries with a charge, assign them to staff and print the day's run. Sell prepaid packages and memberships that apply at the counter automatically.

It keeps selling when the internet stops

TexBill runs on the shop's own computer. A dead line, a power cut on the tower, a provider outage — the counter carries on, because nothing it needs is somewhere else.

Questions laundries and dry cleaners ask

Is every order a proper GST bill?

Yes. Each order is an ordinary bill with your tax rate and SAC code on it, so dues, the cash drawer, GST reports and credit notes all work as they do for any sale. Ask your accountant which rate and SAC code apply to your services.

Can I tell customers their clothes are ready?

Yes — one tap opens WhatsApp on your computer with the message written out, and you press send. Automatic SMS and WhatsApp sending is not built in yet.

Does it work on the phone?

The full laundry counter — orders, tags, pickups and deliveries — is on the Windows desktop. The Android app is being brought up to the same features.
