For car accessories and spares shops

Billing software for car accessories shops

Half the shop is electrical and lives on serial numbers and warranty; the other half only matters if it fits the customer's car. TexBill records both — on the product, and on the bill.

  • Fits which vehicles
  • Part number
  • Warranty
  • Serial number
  • Size
  • Colour

Works with no internet · One payment, no renewal · Your data stays on your computer

What a car accessories needs it to do

Does it fit my car?

The question at every counter in this trade, and the one a normal billing app has no field for. Each product carries which vehicles it fits, in your own shorthand — Swift/Dzire 2018+ — and it is searchable, so a wiper for a Creta is never sold for a Swift.

Warranty claims two years later

A battery comes back at month 30 of a 36-month warranty. The serial number and the warranty months are on the original bill, so the claim is settled by looking it up rather than by arguing about it.

The maker's part number, not just yours

Customers and distributors quote the manufacturer's number. It is recorded alongside your own item code, so stock can be found by either.

Sizes and colours that are real stock

A tyre in 195/65 R15 is different stock from 185/65 R15, and a seat cover in beige is not one in black. Each is counted, priced and barcoded on its own without becoming a separate product to maintain.

It keeps selling when the internet stops

TexBill runs on the shop's own computer. A dead line, a power cut on the tower, a provider outage — the counter carries on, because nothing it needs is somewhere else.

One payment, and it is yours

Bought once, not rented. There is no renewal to forget and nothing to stop paying — if we disappeared tomorrow, your copy keeps working.

Your books are a file on your machine

The shop's data sits on the shop's computer, not on somebody else's server. Cloud backup exists and is optional, and it is off until you turn it on.

Questions car accessories and spares shops ask

Can I record which car a part fits?

Yes — it is the field this setup is built around. Free text rather than a list of models, because no list stays correct for long and every shop has its own shorthand.

Does it handle battery and audio warranties?

Yes. Warranty in months and the serial number are captured per item and printed on the bill, which is what a claim is settled from.

Can I bill a fitting or labour charge?

Yes. Add it as a product and mark it a service: it bills on the same invoice as the parts, with no stock count, and its whole price counts as earned.
